AN ORIGINAL AND COMFORTABLE GUEST HOUSE

Gandini B & B, in the medina of Taourirt, is the consequence of twenty years of love for Warzazat, from a French who makes discover the tracks of Morocco to the enthusiasts of this country. In 2004, Jacques Gandini settled in this house next to the kasbah of Glaoui, which he had transformed and decorated to his taste on a historical theme that is dear to him: to find traces of the city of Ouarzazate at the time French.

It is in his original and comfortable house that he offers today to receive you in a family Bed and Breakfast with a duplex apartment on the 3rd and 4th floor (5 people) or in a large room on the 2nd floor (3 people ).

Some DPM * already know Latifa who receives in Dar Kafila since the beginning of the installation of Jacques Gandini. Berber of one of the villages of the road Tichka, and proud to be, it will offer you only "beldi" for the full breakfast, which summer can be served on the terrace, facing the rising sun. .. a plus for those who wish to leave early.
B & B Gandini does not provide food for lunch and dinner, but you will have a choice of 6 or 7 restaurants in the vicinity within 200 meters. According to your desires and your means, Latifa will know which one to recommend to you.
Note that in Warzazat, there is always the restaurant "Chez Dimitri" which, since 1928, is a must (by reservation) and other restaurants renowned for their cuisine ...

Jacques Gandini, nicknamed the DPM * base, has produced for the past twenty years, 10 guides for the discovery of the tracks of Morocco, some of which in several editions updated and augmented, as well as the guide of the camp-sites of Morocco and a guide of the Fishing in Atlantic Morocco.

His latest guide, written in collaboration with Gérard Colletta and Hoceine Ahalfi, his field assistant for twenty years, concerns the Route Charles de Foucauld, the journey made by the explorer to Morocco in 1883-1884.
His guides are all on sale in Dar Kafila, with a discount of 10% for his guests.

mac carthyOn the first floor, a large reception room also serves Reception.It is dedicated to Oscar Mac Carthy, the librarian of Algiers at the origin of the exploration of Morocco by Charles de Foucauld. Upon your arrival, Latifa will serve you a welcome tea.

It is here that the beldi breakfast will be served every morning to the occupants of the 2nd floor room (and, in case of bad weather, to those of the duplex). You can also enjoy two sofas to watch television, comfortably installed (several English channels or a selection of films shot in Morocco in general and Warzazat in particular).
